Breakfast/food
Breakfast is not included in our room rates.
However, we can offer, at an extra cost, some basic ingredients for cooking your own breakfast.
There are also very limited dining options in town and nowhere to have breakfast before a tour.

Bathrooms
Our bathrooms are shared throughout the property and we do not have any en-suite rooms. Bathrooms are shared typically between 2 to a maximum of 3 rooms.

Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. Guests on a flight can usually stay on the premises after they vacate their rooms, and can store their luggage in the entrance before their flight. There are no keys for the rooms.
Payments
We do not require a deposit or ask for a credit card number to hold bookings.
Payment will be due upon arrival, and will be in the form of an invoice, payable online by credit card, and sent to the email address you booked with.
We can also accept credit card payment using the square system, and also cash or cheques, as well as Paypal and interac transfers.
Kitchen/Lounge area
Guests all have access to a lounge area and are welcomed to use the guest kitchen to prepare any meal. The kitchen is kept tidy and clean and we ask our guests to help keep it that way.
The kitchen is available from 6:00am to 10:30pm. Quiet time throughout the property is from 10:00pm to 6:30am.
The kitchen is for our guest use only: guests are not sharing with the owners, as we have our own living quarters. During their stay, Guests can bring and store their own food items in the kitchen's fridge and cupboards and can purchase all they need at our friendly and well stocked local grocery and liquor store, Super-Valu.
We however cannot store food in our fridge and freezer when guests leave on a tour.
Free Wifi
Wi-Fi is available at the Bayview Garden, at no extra cost. Please be aware that we have limited data available on island, and connection can be slow.
Pets
We have a no-pet policy at Bayview Garden and cannot accept any animals, of any size. Other establishments in town may accommodate pets.
Information
If you stay with us, we can provide you with the information you need to make your stay on Haida Gwaii as pleasant as possible!
Luggage storage
For all our guests going on a tour, we can store your luggage for you, for a fee.

Parking/vehicles
We have free parking space available to our guests during their stay with us.
For guests going on a tour, we can generally offer longer term parking on our property, for a fee.

Laundry
We usually cannot provide a laundry service. While we have laundry facilities on our property, the equipment is used mainly for housekeeping.
However, there is a coin operated public washer/dryer at the 501 campground down the road - open in the summers
Daily Housekeeping
Shared space such as the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are cleaned daily. If you are staying with us for a few days in a row and wish to have us clean your room and change your sheets, let us know, and we will be happy to do it for you.
