FOOD

Restaurants in town

This year (2024), there are a couple of options for dining in town.

If you have questions about any of these options, please contact those businesses directly.

Please note that there are no early breakfast options anywhere in town, and cooking your own breakfast will be your only option if you leave early on a tour.

Cooking at the Bayview Garden

Our guests all have access to a fully equipped kitchen and can use it to cook all their meals. We encourage our guests to bring their own food or to purchase their dinner/breakfast items in town.

WHERE TO BUY FOOD IN TOWN?

Option 1 => Our amazing local grocery store and liquor store, Supervalu, is open 7 days a week (closed on stat holidays), 9.30am to 6pm Mon to Sat, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. It is up the road towards the airport and about a 10mn walk away. Ph: (250) 637-2249

Option 2 => Whenever Supervalu is closed (after hours, all night and on stat holidays), K’il Kun convenience is open! It is a 3mn walk up Park Road, about 4 doors up from Bayview Garden. You will find basic breakfast, lunch or dinner items, as well as snacks, ice cream etc. Ph: (250) 637-2469 or (778) 268-2351

GUEST KITCHEN RULES

The kitchen is kept tidy and clean and we ask our guests to help keep it that way.

The kitchen is available from 6:00am to 10:30pm. Quiet time throughout the property is from 10:00pm to 6:30am.

The kitchen is for our guest use only: guests are not sharing with the owners, as we have our own living quarters. During their stay, our guests can bring and store their own food items in the kitchen's fridge and cupboards. We however cannot store food in our fridge and freezer when guests leave on a tour, and items left will be removed.
