Your place to stay in sandspit, Haida Gwaii
Bayview Garden is a waterfront home with a three-bedroom cottage separate from the main house.
Bayview Garden offers a choice of either Private Rooms or Hostel-style accommodation.
Cheerful and comfortable, Bayview Garden is overlooking scenic Shingle Bay in Sandspit, the gateway to Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve.
The tiny settlement of Sandspit is the only community on Moresby Island and daily Air Canada flights from Vancouver land at the Sandspit Airport (YZP), located about 1.5km up the road from Bayview Garden.
It offers easy access to kayaking adventures, fishing charters, birdwatching, and beachcombing.
Peaceful Bayview Garden is also a prime location to truly relax and a good base to explore the islands.
For more information on local attractions visit the Sandspit Visitor Information Website.
For information on kayaking and boating adventures in Gwaii Haanas, visit www.moresbyexplorers.com.
For general information on the islands, visit GoHaidaGwaii and download the publications "This is Haida Gwaii - Tadswii'", and the "Guide to Haida Gwaii" (published seasonally by the Haida Gwaii Observer and usually available online)
Bayview Garden offers a choice of either Private rooms (mostly with a double or queen bed in), or Hostel-Style accommodation (one shared room with 3 single beds in ).
The Main House has 2 rooms (where the hostel room is located too), while the Cottage has 3 rooms. There are 2 bathrooms for the 5 rooms.
Breakfast is not included in the offer but we can provide a "cook-your-own" breakfast at an extra cost, where ingredients are made available for people to cook with at the time of their choosing in the morning.
All guests have free access to a fully equipped kitchen and common lounge areas at all times.
Note that sometimes, in the summer, we have access to another building located just across the road, that we use as an overflow on busy nights. The offer is the same and is fully integrated in the Bayview Garden.
